Welcome to our Tiny Forest

The Sally Gibson Tiny Forest, named after a founder member of the Friends of the Denes, was planted on 14th March 2023, in partnership with Darlington City Council and supported by the Queen's Green Canopy. The planting was carried out by local residents and groups of children from Reid Street and Corporation Road primary schools. The Tiny Forest was opened by the Lord Lieutenant for County Durham, and Shaun Campbell from the Arthur Wharton Foundation.
