Welcome to our Tiny Forest

Portobello Primary School in Gateshead planted their Tiny Forest on 19th March 2024, in partnership with the school, North East Community Forest, Gateshead City Council, and Living Woods CIC. In a busy planting day, nearly all 220 pupils from the school had the chance to plant a tree within the Tiny Forest, accompanied by staff and school volunteers. The Tiny Forest includes an outdoor classroom area which can be used for teaching in the future.
